All Issues & Board Game Available to Buy
over 5 years ago – Mon, Dec 17, 2018 at 01:27:07 AM

Hi everyone!

We're approaching the end of a difficult year, one in which it seems like everyone on our team has had some kind of health or family crisis. As a result we haven't had much time to keep you updated, but there is some good news on the way.

Also we finally have all the comics from the Kickstarter, the board game, and even a few of the t-shirts (while stocks last) available to buy on our online stores. US and Canadian customers can buy from our Storenvy, while UK, EU and the rest of the world can get their PG goodies via Bigcartel. Tell your friends!

We'll be in touch again soon, until then, I hope you're all well and looking forward to the holidays!

Game Time Sticker Placement
about 6 years ago – Mon, Apr 16, 2018 at 02:07:51 AM

You've let us know that it's not really clear how to attach the PG stickers in the box to the meeples. Here's an example of the production stickers placed on the correct pieces. Note that the shape of each more or less matches the shape of the sticker, and that the red PG doesn't have a different "back" design as her pose is a side-view - her "front" and "back" are the same image flipped horizontally.

The Axiom Man is the easiest to get the wrong way around, being almost but not quite symmetrical, but he's also the easiest to fix, as you have a few spare AM stickers.

Each box comes with 5 identical sticker sheets, looking like this:

The three PGs on the left and the Paradox Girl logo are not stickers, they're just filling space. You could cut them out and use them if you need spares, or wanted some extra SD PG's to decorate something with, but they aren't needed for the game and haven't been die-punched.

That leaves two of each PG, front and back, on each sheet, enough to cover all 10 meeples of each colour on both sides. This means you have four spare Axiom Man stickers of each side, but it was more efficient to print 1 sheet 5000 times than 5 sheets 1000 times. The excess can be used as spares or just stuck to whatever you want - folders, laptops, slow-moving siblings etc.

Hope that clears things up, let us know in the comments if you have any other questions; and if you need extra sticker sheets, send us a message and we'll get back to you as soon as we have the spares.

Physical Rewards Fulfilment Complete
about 6 years ago – Sun, Apr 15, 2018 at 01:44:39 AM

Time Game finally arrived at the warehouse last month, and Ship Naked tell us that all backer copies were picked, packed and shipped as of March 29th, a week or two ahead of our updated schedule.

So while we're still waiting on one or two digital rewards, that's physical fulfilment complete. If you still don't have your stuff by the end of the month, get in touch and we'll look into it for you.

We're still waiting to get the remaining stock of games shipped to us, so if you have any missing or damaged pieces and need replacements, we'll provide them as soon as we have them in our hands.

We'll have more announcements soon, but for now I'd just like to thank you all again for your enthusiasm and patience.

And for those of you who've received your copy of the game, we'd love to know what you think of it!

LEGND Preview
about 6 years ago – Sat, Feb 24, 2018 at 01:02:21 AM

Here's the promised preview of LEGND, another project written by Cayti, with art by Judd Abinuman, who was our artist on Axiom Man.

You can read a higher resolution version on our tumblr.

Underemployed young adult Isabella "Dizzy" Moretti blessed or cursed with mysterious and often frightening powers, powers fuelled by the very force that brings monsters into the world. She isn't the first person to develop these abilities, either - people like her have been around for a generation or two, and in the meantime they've developed the kind of underground culture you'd expect from 20-somethings who suddenly found themselves with superpowers and an apparent destiny to battle the supernatural - insular and full of increasingly dated pop cultural references.

Dizzy has to navigate both the hidden world of the "V"s and the challenge of mastering and understanding her own abilities, in a story we've been pitching as "Buffy meets Gossip Girl."

As always, we'd love to hear what you think!

Progress Report
about 6 years ago – Mon, Feb 19, 2018 at 07:46:11 PM

Game Time

The card game is printed and paid for; we have samples of the final product. I'll post pictures later, it's mostly identical to the prototype but we've made two changes - the grey meeples are now a lighter shade to make them easier to distinguish from the black ones, and the box is slightly bigger to make it easier to pack away all the components.

There was a delay in producing the shipping plan that put us up against the Chinese New Year, during which no ships will sail from Chinese ports, so our revised shipping date is mid April. There won't be any further delays unless the container falls off the ship on the way over here or the warehouse gets flooded or something.

I'm very sorry for the extra delay and the lack of updates; there hasn't really been much to relate this year other than "still waiting for the final ETA."

LEGND

Our second preview is ready, I'll put it up in a separate post.

Sketch Covers

Two people are still waiting for their sketch covers; I'll be emailing them both today to try and get that squared away.

Desktop Wallpapers

We've got someone working on these; I'll post an update when they're available in the download section on backerkit.

Online Stores

Soon we'll be updating our online stores to sell the new issues, a few of the shirts, and after all the backers have their copies, the card game. You'll be able to buy most of the things that you may have missed; we just wanted to wait until we'd finished or almost finished fulfilment before spending time trying to sell more copies!
