Badassical

John Fleming helped us out during our Kickstarter, and now he's launched his third KS, for the third issue of Badassical, a sci fi series about three women trapped in a futuristic game show!

Digital Rewards Update

We still owe you a few digital rewards - Cayti is hard at work on The Annotated Paradox Girl, and we're waiting for the artist to get back to us with the first of the desktop wallpapers. In the meantime, our good friend Absnerdity (aka Paramaniac) has provided us with this derpy PG smartphone wallpaper. Enjoy!

Progress Report: Shipping, Card Game

Shipping Update

Most of the orders have gone out and should have reached you now.

Unfortunately the box of "Espionage" shirts was lost in the mail; we had replacements manufactured and those have now arrived, so orders containing Espionage shirts will begin shipping from this week. Apologies for the delay if you ordered one of those.

Game Time

We decided to ship this out separately as it's going to take longer to produce than anything else; it's basically been a second KS project on top of the comics, so sorry again for how long it's taking. We're making progress, and we'll announce a revised date for it to ship as soon as we know when it'll be done.

Some good news, though - we overestimated the cost of components, so it'll be cheaper to produce than we expected. As a result we've been able to upgrade some of the components.

Instead of having plain wooden meeples for your PG tokens, you'll now be getting four designs of wooden token, one for each player, with stickers for both sides! Here's some of the art Yishan's prepared for the new stickers:

Here's a message from Ship Naked, our shipping partner:

Greetings, Paradox Girl Backers!

As of June 1st, 2017, we have begun to pick, pack, and ship Paradox Girl reward packages out to you. If we run into any snags, we'll provide an update to Peter so he can let you know here. We’ll also provide him with another update once all picking, packing, and shipping is complete.

You should receive a shipping notification to the email you included in your survey or pledge manager when your package label is printed or scanned through the local facility.

Thank you for your support of Paradox Girl and Hana Comics!

Progress Report: Shirt Prototypes, Bookplates, Sketch Covers
almost 7 years ago – Mon, May 22, 2017 at 12:24:19 AM

Hi everyone, Peter here. I've been sick for the last month, so apologies for the lack of updates. Fortunately most of the goods were either in transit already or with Ship Naked, so it hasn't slowed us down particularly.

Right now SN are processing all of your addresses and order details. They'll be sending out the first packages any day now, I'm just waiting for a schedule from them so we can tell you when to expect your rewards.

In the meantime, here are some of the things that have arrived that I've been wanting to share with you this month:

Sketch covers!
Sketch covers!

These are looking even nicer than the last batch!

Bookplates!
Bookplates!

We've got over a thousand of these, and they've just finished their long journey from California to Montana to China (with an extended rest break while waiting to be released from Chinese customs) to Scotland to England and finally back to the USA and New Hampshire.

These are the prototypes of the shirts - we've tweaked some of the logos or made them larger for the final versions.

It's good to be back. Thank you all for your patience, and I'll have more news for you soon.
