Digital Issues

The finished versions of the digital issues - including Axiom Man #1 - are being uploaded to Backerkit now. This weekend we'll also be uploading Humble codes for people who bought extra digital issues as add-ons - these add-on copies won't be tied to your backerkit account and can be given away, but we have to upload them separately.

Printing

We've signed off on the proofs and production of the comics has begun. Printing will take up to two weeks, and shipping to the US could take another month. We'll use this time to prepare the other rewards and try to have them all ready to ship to you by the time the comics arrive.

Time Game!

The card game will take the longest of any of the rewards, as we're still getting it ready for the printers. Now that the comics are out of the way this is our main focus. Here's a first look at what the cards are going to look like:

Thank you again for your questions, comments, encouragement and patience. It's been a labor-intensive period of fulfilment for us: Putting the comics together and checking and rechecking the files before they are committed indelibly to paper. We're looking forward to the next phase, seeing these things become something we can hold in our hands, and getting them out to you.

In the meantime, enjoy the digital editions, and we hope you love Axiom Man's first outing!

Progress Report: Printing!

The files for PG are ready and with the printers now!

We've had a couple of delays - we wanted to start the survey period earlier but were advised to wait 14 days for all the KS payments to clear, and printing has been delayed by the presses being closed for another couple of weeks for the Chinese New Year. 

Work on Axiom Man will be finished this weekend, we're just placing some last touches to the files. Next week will be for getting the card game ready for printing. The comics and the game will take the longest time to manufacture of any of the rewards, so getting those started has been a priority. Once the ball is rolling on both of those we'll get everything else ready for you while we wait for the books to arrive.

Issues 4-6 Beta Versions Released!

Hi everyone, Peter here! 

I've spent the last week with my head buried in the photoshop files for the new issues, editing and finishing them, getting them ready for print. Now they're ready enough that we've uploaded beta CBR/PDFs to Backerkit. You should be getting an email today notifying you that the new downloads are available.

The issues are complete apart from the two credits pages, which I'll be filling in once we lock down surveys on the 22nd. So have a read, and please, let me know if you find any errors or typos that I didn't catch. 4000 eyes are better than two! Leave a comment below if you find anything, or just send us a message.

I'm writing this in a hurry, since we only have five days to catch any errors before we have to get ready for print, but sharing these stories with you is a big milestone for us. Everyone who has worked on these issues has been looking forward to getting these three stories to you, and Cayti especially is eager to hear what you think of them, and will be along soon with a personal message.

Survey Deadline & Axiom Man Sneak Peek

Hi everyone!  

Just a quick update to let you know we're still working on getting the comics ready to print! Before we can go to press, though, we'll need all your names for the credits page, so don't forget to fill in your survey if you haven't already! The lock-down date for surveys is:

22nd January 2017

We're still waiting for surveys from 135 of you. If you miss the lockdown date we won't know what name you want for the credits, and there's a chance we might not produce enough T-shirts and stuff in the designs you want, so please, fill out your surveys! And to everyone who has already - thank you!

We'll have more updates soon, but to tide you over, here's a panel from Axiom Man #1! Artists Judd and Harley are hard at work getting it ready to print at the same time as the new issues of Paradox Girl!

PG is busy fighting herself over the new heels we bought her, so we'll make this quick and just say, happy holidays!  

Issues 1-3 are available digitally to everyone whose pledge includes them now, and you should all have your surveys!  (They're very important to fill out, especially if we need your name for the credits!)  We'll keep you updated on our progress like always, but for now we're going to try to pull these Paradox Girls apart.
