Last Call to Update Addresses!

All of the comics have arrived, Shipnaked are bagging and boarding them now and getting them ready to send out. If you've moved house or otherwise need to update your shipping address in backerkit, you should do it by the end of this week, or risk getting your order shipped to the old address!

In other news, the bookplates have all been signed now, we're working on getting them sent back from China. Work continues on the card game and we expect it to be ready to print by the end of next week. The T-shirts are ready for production, we're just finalising the details of the order with the factory now.

We've had our first look at the printed comics, and they look great! The full shipment will be at the distributor in a couple of weeks' time; then we'll get an estimate from them as to how long it will take to bag & board all the comics and send them out to you. In the meantime, here are some pictures so you can see what you'll be getting:

Progress Report: T-Shirts, Stickers, Shipping

There have been several delays but now we have an ETA for the comics to arrive at the Shipnaked warehouse in the US. We expect them to arrive on the 19th of April, and from there they'll be shipped out to you just as fast as they can pack and deliver them.

Our job right now is to make sure Shipnaked have everything else they need to send you - T-Shirts, stickers, bags and boards for the comics, packing lists, and so on. We talked to them last week to compile a list of all the information they need and we're working through that now.

We'll be exporting the data to them sometime before the 19th, so if you for any reason still haven't filled out your survey, now would be a good time!

The T-shirts we need to finalise the designs for with the manufacturing company; we're waiting for them to get back to us with a final quote now.

Stickers will be ordered by the end of the week. Bags and boards I can order right now, but I wanted to ask - does anyone have a brand of bags they'd like to suggest? The collectors among you? We've got 7000 comics to bag, so we want to make sure we get good ones. :)

Bookplates for signed copies are on their way to Cayti, and sketch covers are en route to Yishan to be illustrated.

The card game will take longer than anything else to prepare, so we're going to send it out in a second wave - you'll get all of your comics and other rewards first, then Game Time will go out to backers who ordered a copy. We didn't want it to hold up anyone's order, and we'll have time to make it look great.

Progress Report: Time Game, Humble, and Next Steps

Time Game

Work continues on the graphic design for this. Card contents are settled, and we had a playtest with the new card designs the other night to make sure they were comfortably readable and fun to play with, and gave the "comic book page" look we're going for. Once the card designs are finalised, we'll need to do graphic design for the other elements - counters, rulebook and box, and we'll be ready for production.

Humble Codes

We have all of the new issues up on Humble now. Since backers are getting their issues through Backerkit this won't affect many of you, but it means digital copies are now available at paradoxgirl.com, and those who bought digital copies as add-ons will be able to download their codes now.

We used humble codes for add-on digital copies so that they could be given away as gifts - otherwise there wouldn't be much point in getting more than one of an issue. (Some people used add-ons to get digital issues they hadn't pledged for; if you're one of these backers and having your comics divided between backerkit and humble is a bother, let us know, we can reconcile them.)

Now that the comics are printed and on their way to the warehouse, the next step is to produce the signed bookplates and T-shirts.
